i only read it now, im sorry, where can i find the freehand selector or the magnetic selector?
can i do this with the PhotoPlus SE?? thanks
aww.that child is soo cute
You can try Serif’s website, serif.c0m. It’s also in many retail stores and at Amazon etc too.
where can I get the program?
thank you so much!
I’d also recommend using a Feather on your selection to soften the edge of what you’re cutting out, so it blends against a new background better. You can find it in the Select > Modify menu.
ahh .. thank you.. this helps a lot..
thank you! i will have to try that.
@ilymanda43 Hi, you can either set an area to keep or remove by making a selection, or you can use one of the eraser tools to remove a background. If using selection tools, I’d suggest either the freehand selector or the magnetic selector, which snaps to places near your cursor where there’s a colour change. Once you have an area selected, you can copy that region and paste it over another image as a new layer (Ctrl+L) so it can be moved and resized over its new background. HTH, Dale @ Serif.
ahh, for the free version of photoplus, the extract button is not available… is there another way to do this using the free photo plus?
great video thanks for sharing
Hi there, yes, I think image extraction first made it into PhotoPlus in version 7, so v9 can use the technique shown in this tutorial. HTH, Dale.
can you do that on serif photoplus 9 ???
I bought Drawplus X2 today and Im glad.
Just ordered this, looks really great
